[MAGEEC] Project status

Hi all,

I thought you'd like to know that we had a successful Q2 review of
MAGEEC with our monitoring officer, Tom Hollis last Thursday.

The key issues we had to address were the slip to the first LLVM version
of the mageec framework, and the shortage of programs in the training
and evaluation sets.

The first of these is partly due to more common code going in to the
first GCC iteration, and will be resolved by adding more resource from 1
February next year.

We made good progress on the second issue with 10 of us taking part in a
BEEBS code bashing session on Thursday afternoon. James Pallister will
be merging all these changes into the master branch of BEEBS over the
coming weeks.
